Three rounds of:
Burpees
75 pound Power snatch
Box jump, 24" box
75 pound Thruster
Chest to bar Pull-ups
"Hope" has the same format as Fight Gone Bad. In this workout you move from each of five stations after a minute. This is a five-minute round from which a one-minute break is allowed before repeating. The clock does not reset or stop between exercises. On call of "rotate," the athlete/s must move to next station immediately for good score. One point is given for each rep.

Each of the 5 stations is one minute long, totaling in one five minute round. Proceed to do three rounds with a minute rest between rounds.
Definitely sore but I'm going all out!!
im wanting to start cross fit - but i took a fall in july 20th of last year and i cracked my femer and my heal in my right leg- but my knee has been giving me problems but its been getting better and i feel like ive rehabed myself back to how i was - n i fell confident to starst crossfit im seeking info on how to start- asap - i live in baton rouge - lousiana - hit me back

Awesome! you have several options. You can find an affiliate nearby. There is an affiliate search tool on the website. They will work with your injuries. You may have some friends who know a little about training and work with them, or you can crossfit yourself using the main site and work around your injury. People here will help you learn everything there is to learn.

For the people who are asking why it isn't tomorrows WOD: Tomorrow will be a Rest Day, so 1 day earlier on the mainsite. It's just a great symbol for all boxes over the world to do this WOD with their members today or tomorrow.
The reason they posted it today and not tomorrow is because tomorrow is technically a scheduled rest day for main site programming. Thus, to keep with the regular programming they had to either post it today or Sunday if they wanted to maintain regularity.

Burpees pretty consistent. Think it was 20,18,17. Thrusters toughest part mentally. Didn't have good rhythm on C to B. Worried about hitting HRM. Pace a little better on BJ. Still a lot of room for improvement though.

as rx'd 147 reps, I went to a crossfit affilate yesterday and instead of the prescribed front squats we warmed up with back squats and then dida crazy workout my arms are killing me, can't wait to try hope again when i am not so sure, here is the workout I did yesterday;
-start 3 rope climbs
then 9-15-21 of 155lbs back squat and pull ups
after each set do a 50' shuttle run
finish with 25 burpees

@ #54 - your chest has to touch the bar vs. just your chin clearing the bar.

Your chest should come to the bar below your collarbone. A "regular" pull-up is just your chin crossing the bar.

I did crossfit football before this wod. Worked on my snatch, c&j and front squat form for about 40 minutes. Needless to say was exhausted by the time I started.

I decided to switch from box jumps to simply step-ups during my third round: my feet didn't quite make it to the top of the box and I almost killed myself.
Made it to 200 but then I forget how to count. Something about your brain needing oxygen in order to function...
First time on this type of total as I have not done fight gone bad yet, but this kicked my butt. I tried to break 20 reps per exercise and raced to this and only fell short on the last set of burpees. Felt great and horrible at the same time however, I did run 7 miles this morning for PT so that is my excuse.

Been off all week, sore throat last Friday. Then Sun morning 3 am got a bug, puke and the other. 2pm solid food and rest. Wed felt a little better hiked 3-4 miles, crashed next two days.
I wanted to flush the sickness out and use "Hope" as the means to do so.

67 60 50, total 177. Unfortunately, got interrupted by a guy walking up to the back of the station to ask questions just as I was resting after round 2. After about 5 min, I started round 3 but was all out of whack. Had a back twinge during snatches, so had to cut short my thrusters. Last round a mess, felt like I could have got 10 more.
