Natalie is a beast, i was fortunate enough to get some coaching from her a few years back at a Burg Oly course.

If men and women alike want to hit her numbers you need to specialise.

Natalie is very impressive. She is the model example of how to perform the lift.

Just a quick point - she was lifting on concrete, not cement. Cement is a component of concrete, along with water, aggregate (sand & gravel) and other additives.

Cement typically is portland cement. There are 5 types of cement (Type I - V), and each type has different characteristics such as hardening time or resistance to sulfates.

I love engineering and crossfit!

Not ready for a snatch just yet.

My coach said this was "the ugly baby you leave on the church doorstep PR".

Still counts, dammit!

44/m/176cm/73kg

50-50-55-55-60-60-60 kg

Practiced some more reps with 50 kg and managed a few with solid from. Every rep above 50kg was somehow flawed (jumped to wide or forward).

CFWU-3. Attempted monkey touches instead of HSPU 3rd. Superman. Burgener.
135,140,145,150,155,160,165.
Pretty rough last 3 rounds. Better when I remembered to tighten butt & core. Used video camera for each rep. Need to land behind initial jumping position.
9/29/11:
135,140,145,150,155,160,165!
165 went up pretty easy after 4th attempt. Tight core, knees back, float arms/wrists, look at ceiling when opening hips.
4/19/11:
125,135,145,150 & a bunch of fails at 155.
Disappointing. Need to get hips open & keep arms straight!
1/20/11:
125,135,140,150-F,150,155,160-F
Disappointing. Something wrong with tech. Maybe bending arms too soon. Need better hip ext.
3/25/10: 95,105,115,125,130,135,140
12/28/09: 95,105,110,115,120,130,135
9/29/09: 95,105,115,120,125,130
