when done right, like in that video, that lift is an unbelievable athletic feat
Tammy...in pic of day....double wow! CrossFit women rule!
Wow Natalie. I'm going to watch your video over and over and over! Beautiful form.
The form on Natalie's lifts are incredible.
Beautiful Natalie - I want a snatch like you when I grow up!
The great one's make it look easy and aesthetic. Like Cherie, when I grow up I want to lift just like you.
So fast other girls say damn
Is Widman's full video on restorative movements available? I'd like to hear more.

Natalie is a beast, i was fortunate enough to get some coaching from her a few years back at a Burg Oly course.
If men and women alike want to hit her numbers you need to specialise.

Natalie is very impressive. She is the model example of how to perform the lift.
Just a quick point - she was lifting on concrete, not cement. Cement is a component of concrete, along with water, aggregate (sand & gravel) and other additives.
Cement typically is portland cement. There are 5 types of cement (Type I - V), and each type has different characteristics such as hardening time or resistance to sulfates.
I love engineering and crossfit!
BirdDog, from one engineer to another, Love it!! :)

I know my PR is weak, but I'm very new to this and my form has a long way to go. Still very excited! I'm enjoying gaining strength and learning a new move! I'll keep working on my form.

Hurt my back during the last WOD with a powerlift, so did 50 clean and jerks with light weight (65#) to work on powerlifting form.
Not ready for a snatch just yet.
Natalie is awesome! What a great example of strong female lifters. I have learned a lot from watching that video and can't wait to work my snatch!

Did four handstand holds for max time. Longest was 2:01.
Then, practiced power snatches, at 75#.
new PR for me today at 185. It took me three tries to get it, and form wasn't great, but I'm definately improving! Kudos to Natalie for a very impressive performance!!
