U.S. Army Sergeant William "Ricky" Rudd, 27, of Madisonville, Kentucky, assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, based in Fort Benning, Georgia, died on October 5, 2008, from wounds suffered from enemy small arms fire while on a combat patrol in Mosul, Iraq. He is survived by his father William, stepmother Barbara Rudd, step brother Josh, mother Pamela Lam, and sister Elizabeth.

Section 8 j reads, "The flag represents a living country and is itself considered a living thing."
While I'm sure that Aja did not intend to be disrespectful, the use of the American flag as a sweaty, dew rag during a Warrior WOD is in poor taste.

Quick question: for the dumbbell deadlift, do they have to touch the ground at the bottom, or do we bring them to about where a normal barbell would be?
Do the dumbells need to need to go all the way back down to the floor to start each DL rep?
Also, do you take the bar from a rack for the Presses, or clean it first?

That only applies to a real flag, material with a flag picture on it does not count. If you took a real American and cut it up or wore it as clothing then that violates the law. There is a law that says you should not deface, cut, or burn US money. Yet if you print a picture of a dollar bill on a piece of cloth and write all over it, you're aren't violating the law. Same with the flag.

Doing this today and will probably scale the weight down a little. Just a question, for the DB deadlifts, is each weight 75 lbs or is it combined? Sorry if this was already addressed...there are a lot of comments to go through.

16 rnds. used farmers carry bars for dbs and stood on 2 45#,1 35#, and 1 15# bumper plate to make height match for dbs.

Probably the best way to work into them is with resistance bands. They come in a variety of sizes. Start with a size you can get some full range of motion pull ups and work to failure. Gradually go to smaller bands and after a while you should graduate to body weight. Hope this helps.

I really felt my grip going on the DL... the dumbell's had large or thick grips and the bar I used for the pullups was kind of slick and very thick as well.
This was a good WOD... Next time I'll use 10 or 125 lbs for the PP.
I really concentrated on going a bit slower on the DL since I was lowing my grip and wanted to stay nice and tight...PPs were all unbroken.
I used wrist wraps to minimize wrist strain.

Hi, I've been doing this for about a month now, and I just did exercise with the full weight, but only got about 3 sets in. Should I be lowering the weight and trying to get to about 6-7 sets for these 20 minute things, or should I just continue with the normal weight?

As rx'd, except I only did 4 deadlifts each time because I didn't have a power rack, so I had to clean 135 once for each set of push press.
Awesome WOD!! Like that it uses both push and pull muscles, since that allowed me to keep my pace much more steady than it usually is for workouts this intense. Will shoot for 12 rounds next time.
