Hello rest day, I am happy to see you.

I like the guy in the back about to nail one of them with the football.

Comment #2 - Posted by: Bill at November 21, 2011 5:12 PM

Love the pic!

The best part is the guy in the background that's about to throw a football at them.

That's what friends are for!

I grew up in OP, KS. Great to see you!

Comment #4 - Posted by: BPemberton at November 21, 2011 6:05 PM

So sick of the politics here.

Comment #5 - Posted by: Jon Gray at November 21, 2011 6:06 PM

Well written article on Cali from a small business standpoint.

Rob Hole, great home gym. I loved seeing the Iron Major CF shirt. I started CrossFit with them in 2009.

Great home gym, love the dry erase on the garage doors, rope.

What drinks are the pepsi vending machine in your neighbors driveway?

Sweeeet home gym! One day......One day!

Comment #9 - Posted by: MattyJ at November 21, 2011 7:30 PM

I'm taking Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday off, it's thanksgiving and it's also important to have a break every 8 weeks or so, I thought I might kill two birds with one stone

Im smoked, happy that the rest day has arrived. On another note I enjoyed reading today's article on the California business environment.

Great article! Could not agree more.

Comment #12 - Posted by: Gar at November 21, 2011 8:06 PM

Wow. "Eveline" is freaking amazing. Great to compare with "Miss Brill" by Mansfield. Completely different and completely the same.

Comment #13 - Posted by: George at November 21, 2011 8:15 PM

Rob Hole both introduced me and inspired me with CrossFit. Back in 2005, he invited me over for a CrossFit WOD 'Death by Burpees' and I have been hoked ever since. Since then, it has been my dream to introduce and inspire others about the power and benefits of CrossFit. Thanks to Rob, I am living my dream at CrossFit Matters!

Thank you Rob for being a friend, mentor and fellow CrossFitter!

I feel sorry for any business operating in Cali - all these regulations, high taxes, and litigation simply drive business elsewhere. Maybe, someday, they'll wake up and realize they've poisoned the business environment beyond repair

Comment #15 - Posted by: steve at November 21, 2011 9:18 PM

#6 Jon.......that wasn't a political article. You must feel pressure when the terrm liberal denotes a bad thing from an economic standpoint. Facts are facts, dude

Comment #16 - Posted by: Bill/52/217/72" at November 21, 2011 9:28 PM

Great home gym! Great article on business in Cali. Sad but true.

Comment #17 - Posted by: Ron at November 21, 2011 9:49 PM

Rob, I dig your garage gym. It's legit.

Comment #18 - Posted by: Pat Sherwood at November 21, 2011 10:04 PM

Congrats on the post Ross!

I also love the guy with the football. I see material for another episode of Ridiculousness in the making!

Looking for some diet advice on this rest day.

I don't love most veggies however, I'm always trying to get more of them into my diet. My question is: Are yellow and green peppers decent additions to my diet?

I can stand broccoli and asparagus but, need a change of pace. I'm also pretty limited on budget. Any informed advice is appreciated.

Comment #22 - Posted by: Matty at November 22, 2011 6:57 AM

no equipment for rest today, so subbed this instead:

warmup: ROM drills, squat therapy, pickle ticklers, pigeon fingers-- 3 times each

WOD: 5 rounds for time

15 calf raises of a very managable weight
10 pushups
5 zombie walks (very managable distance)

Did all Rx'd 23:35, not bad. Felt good today. Pushups were chest to floor, arms fully extended. Zombie walks were tough, burned my hips up. Calf raises were dorsiflexion to plantarflexion each time, heels to floor bitches-- only way to go!!

Sick WOD, I'm spent!

"Michael", details there.

CF works. There are not a lot of products that deliver what they claim in this life. Thank you CF.

Nice home gym, Rob. I laughed out loud at the old pullup bar/closet rack. I can't fit any of my stuff in "our" closet either!

Comment #26 - Posted by: BobC at November 22, 2011 1:23 PM

Love the site and today's article. Politicans don't seem to think through the concept that you can make state and federal rules and business can move to another state or country.

I like the fact that some people are trying to get Crossfit into the schools. Grant programs, you got my vote!
