Tied 1RM PR at 225. This is my active rest cycle so I was not planning on hitting a new PR. Even if I was, I probably wouldn't have gotten it. Everything felt heavy. My body is still not happy about doing work first thing out of bed.

Hi Kerber/#38, part of the trick to a safe back is to keep your abs on all the way through. If you go to the CrossFit Journal & search 'the position', you'll find A Language to Diagnose with Kelly Starrett: Part 5. That video might deliver the instruction you are looking for.

Couldn't believe I came back on the seventh lift and got the 185 after just having failed to lift it. I almost beat myself up mentally coming into the last rep but somehow maintained focus and got it done.
This was my first WOD my new INOV-8 f lite 230's. I have to say that they are some awesome shoes.

I felt SUPER Weak today.. did a fast Linda last night so I was also pretty beat up and sore.
My wrists were SUPER SORE - arthritis was in FULL EFFECT today.. used wraps but they were sore.. I was SUPER sore from doing LINDA last night.. did it in 14:32 and my body was a bit sore today.. felt fine with it last night, but sore tonight.
I can usually Press 135 so 150 should be a relatively easy thruster.. 145 felt pretty easy... I'm sure this was a mental thing. I need to work on my thrusters obviously. Timing, finishing the movement not just letting the weight continue up.. like with a 95 lb thruster.
POST WOD WOD:
Did high box jumps. I was doing about 6-10 per height increase and was pretty comfortable at about 40". I was climbing down not jumping.. when I jump down from high up I tend to be sore more the next day, so for higher box jumps I climb down and then jump back up.

First time ever trying this today. Didn't understand the 1-1-1-1 meant to max out. The exercise is great though never felt this burn from any heavy squats before and I used really low weight (95lbs). I am very aerobically out of shape and the motion was new to me. I cant wait to try Saturdays workout if I can walk.....This stuff is GREAT
