Anyone else think those 155lb power cleans were ass kickers? OOOOOOOBoy!
Did lauren go on vacation? POSTED BY PUKIE???? or did lauren do something to rightly deserve said nickname??
That is an awesome photo!
Haha! #1, I was wondering the same thing!
Awesome photo. I love the overhead-plate lunges on the side.
best parade float...EVER!

Funny I did this WOD today, follow by weighted dips, then sweep and clean high pulls, follow by Squats. got up to 111 LB.
SANTI
I did a weighted pull-up workout two days ago. I'm gonna try this one today. BW=176, added weight=77. I'll use a backpack with weight plates.
HUGE thanks to 5B CROSSFIT and all of our SPONSORS for working together to pull this off! every athlete and participant deserves KUDUS for a phenomenal event. it was so much FUN and was for a great CAUSE! way to go 5B!
I believe the word Camille meant to say was "well-rounded", yes?

Thank you CrossFit for being CrossFit. Thank you float sponsors and athletes of 5B CrossFit. You guys are the greatest. Hailey, Idaho has a growing CrossFit community! We welcome you to throw down WODs, ski killer snow covered mountains in Winter and ride the endless single track mountain bike trails in Summer with us! See you at the games!
so i guess no pull-ups in the warmup right?
@ #1 RIGHT! I thought I was the only one really feelin it after yesterday. Man my hammies are fried. bring on the foam roller!
"Human Powered" flot really tickled me. what a brilliant idea! well done guys and gals.
Ok, did that WOD + DT + 5k run today. I said I was gonna use 77lbs for the pull-ups, only got the first one with that weight then dropped it to 62.5lbs for remaining sets. Second time this week I did DT, it whooped my arse. Started with 175, second set 165, remaining sets 155, time 17:57

Practiced and mastered kipping knees to elbows and kipping toes to bar today!
Cue for me is "back". Head and shoulders need to travel way back behind the bar to maintain my center of gravity right under the bar.
If I try to lift my legs and butt in an upward half circle in front of the bar (like I used to do) I will start swinging wildly on the way down and won't be able to string the reps together.
My center of gravity needs to travel more or less straight up and down while the legs are in front of the bar and head and shoulders are behind the bar.
Just wanted to share this. Hope it helps somebody who struggles with those moves like I did.
Not very good at pull-ups yet, so I subbed in Cindy for this one and did 13 rounds in 20 minutes.... I WILL get better at pull-ups!

Memuc @20, thanks for your insights about kipping T2B and K2E. I've also been baffled as to how people do those, because when I try I end up swinging wildly and end up going back to doing them one-at-a-time style, which is slow and inefficient. I'm going to try your suggestions today.
