All Hail the Hypotenuse! Dorks rule! Love it.
By far the BEST Orlando video yet. Keep 'em comin'!
Rob Orlando is a BEAST, soon to be 2011 Crosfit Games CHAMP!
Rob no worries dude! I know the frustration. You'll slay it next time.
what kind of rack is Rob using? looks like some sort of tubing.
Loving the Thruster Tantrum!!
I bet this is WOD 2 for the Games
Love Rob's video!!! The emotion is great
GREAT EFFORT ROB!
Glad im not the only one who gets hardcore pissed and breaks/slams/punches/kicks etc. anything and everything around me when I cant lift weight I KNOW I can do.
Rob just went from cool to awesome.
Rob you're a BA!!! 5 attempts of 275# is impressive (you got 10 good reps). Love the dedication and the anger
What's the song on Rob's video?
Pretty sure Rob just because my favorite crossfitter!
Ah Rob!!
soooo close on each set dude!
Always nice to see someone from our gym with excellent form!!! Nice work B!!!
I had taken quite a bit of math back in college and I guess I totally missed the point of the article. I know I missed it because I went looking for it and have yet to find it. No punch line, no epiphany, just an incredibly dry article. Guess I will go lift weight instead.
Rob O: you are inspiring bro!
Nice work!
Brandon, nice job man!
A true leader can show his failures as well as his pr's! The emotion was inspiring!!! Thank you Rob!
Is Graham Holmberg competing this year?
The poor guy in the back left of the photo looks like he is about to "fish bowl"! Strong work Brothers!
Best sport I have watched since the Sox in 07!
Love Rob's intensity.
That's how someone gets results, by pushing yourself in every single work out.
Thanks Brandon & Rob, loved the videos! The blood is flowing now, bring on WOD #2! Ouuuu
Rob thank you so much for posting that video. That was was intense. That was savage.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that does that Rob.
Glad to know I'm not the only one that does that Rob. Great effort.
FIREFIGHTER FRAN! Awesome work from some awesome NWA firefighters. Two of them are women!
Rob O you are a beast. I'll be gunning for a mduch lighter weight tomorrow, but that vid got me fired up
Rob O is a beast. No doubt about it. But, knee wraps? I would rather see him hit the weight 'pure', without lifting aids. I'm sure someone will say I'm being a hater, but knee wraps (I've used them a ton) definitely give you a mechanical advantage & add to the #'s you lift, while 'preventing' injury. Thats a fact, not an opinion. Yes, I do realize they use them in powerlifting but they also use Bench press shirts & pretty sure those won't be allowed at the crossfit games either.
Either way, respect.
Any idea what the song is in Rob's video. Just adds to his badassness. I'd like the track
Rob is a stud, love the emotion, love that he's fine putting that out there, anyone who has ever lifted really hard can relate. He's the real deal, love it.
Yeah, seriously
What's the song in Rob's clip?!?
Rob O is THE MAN... Haha, inspiring vid
Nice job, Brandon! 110kg and no temper tantrum!
Rob, you are my favorite CrossFitter for SURE. Keep it up, man!
Chad Vaughn is a great coach!
Chad Vaughn is a great coach
Awesome video of Rob
Love the intensity and pain of incomplete sets. Feel for you buddy.
Brandon needs massive respect. 105kg Thrusters cleaned from the floor! If he used a rack the 111kg from Rob O would have been equalled....
Puts by 70kg to shame....
95-115-135-155-165-185-185
That WOD demo by Rob was easily one of the best Crossfit video's ever. Wicked effort Rob. Its got me well fired up for this one today.

Great vids as always. Sevan with all your abilities, can you get a mic on yourself so we can hear or at least hear your questions better. Hate to miss anything being said. Thanks so much for all the work and no i wont forget that all the stuff is FREE!! I will take it anyway i can get it, no hate mail from me,
Thanks HQ and all involved...
@21
Yeah Graham is competing. He's not among the top rusults in wod 11.1 though.
There are difficulties in finding the results of athletes that are not in the top. When you search for an athlete and click on his profile you will get a list of the top 10 performances from that region. If the particular athlete is placed lower you will not see the result.
Unfortunately the leaderboard isn't searchable, so you have to browse through every page of the leaderboard and look for the athlete in question (use CTRL-F in IE).
Hopefully this will be fixed until the next wod. But I really can't understand why the developers didn't stress-test the website before they launched it. It's not like there is a lack of people who would love to test it out... I just don't get why there are so many seemingly problems with the site that would be seemingly very easy to correct.

Brandon cleaning 110kg from the floor is absolutely amazing! Way to be!
I'm just Glad to see I"m not the only guy who gets pissed off when i dont get the lift! My wife reminds me "honey... its just a weight" with a deep breath, held...released from my nose. I reply " yea..I know, just a wight"

Don't forget constant variation...
This workout right after the ring dips would be a bad idea if it were a standard workout routine with weekly repeats.
But I think we'll do just fine
HELP. One of our athletes is ranked incorrectly. He has a score of 328, and should be in the top 100 men for the northeast, and for some reason the system put him in the 250s...which I am guessing effects our team ranking.
I also have 2 male competitors who tried to submit their scores numerous times and the website wasn't working.
If someone from HQ could please contact me at amy@crossfitsouthie.com, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Also, Rob, good job, but those aren't thrusters. You're doing front squat to push press (which I admit is a marginally decent movement) but it doesn't carry the power output of our thruster.
Don't stop at the re-rack position. Go immediately into the next movement. Check out exercise demo on the main site for reference.

Been away a long while, so pretty happy w/results: 135-135-145-150-155-165.
Why is this being glorified? 1) He's using knee wraps 2) He was thrusting more than he should have been (as evidenced by wraps and failures) 3) He threw a conniption fit.
This is not the model we should be trying to replicate in our workouts.

I need to push myself harder on the max weight WOD's. However, I am awful at thrusters. I am 6'6" and only about 200 lbs. I need to get stronger and more explosive. I'll be working hard for awaiting this WOD to reappear.
