Easy Joe....Did you notice how long his upper torso is? His back is in the correct position and his hips and shoulders are traveling together fine throughout the extension. Montoya's form works for him just as it would with anyone of a similar body type...wouldn't change a thing.

Didn't expect how much the dead lifts would impact the pull ups and how much those 5 HSPUs each round would come into play to tire out the shoulders just enough to make everything just a little harder. Fun WOD.

I've noticed you wear a ton of Skins products, I was wondering if you've experienced the same poor quality a lot of my clients at our box have? I don't wear them myself, but everyone's stitching is falling apart and/or the material has been stretched out in about a 6 month period since purchase...

WOD, scaled to:
5 HSPU, ROM is improving, but still poor
10 DL, 105 lbs
10 Pullups, some kips, some jumping
40 single unders

30:30

still really really really working on pullups and HSPUs, and after today, double unders are another area badly in need of attention. a coordination thing, i think... can't seem to get the wrists to go fast enough??? mind over matter, too.

just one more thing... i started vinyasa power yoga this week... it was wonderful and terrible all at the same time (90 mins at 94 degrees)! i am excited to see what it will do for my flexibility, stamina, core, balance, breathing, focus, etc, etc, etc... i think it will compliment and enhance my ongoing crossfit workouts. :)

awesome workout! enjoy the day everyone!

DU's killed me today. First time trying new rope which is much lighter and thinner than old rope. Couldn't string together more that 3 or 4 at a time, and many singles. Tried switching back to old rope in round 4 but that was even worse...

Head to floor on HSPU; controlled drop on DL (no bumpers); chest contact on pull-up.

HSPU and DU's were about a 30 second walk there and back - killed some time, but helped to get a bit of a breather.

PU's were getting sloppier as the rounds wore on, and not quite reaching chest to bar too much in the later rounds.
