#7 ditto! Been waiting to see when Kristan would beat the top male. The ladies at our gym are starting to beat the men in bodyweight WODS over 10 minutes. Men who can't handle it are strapping on 20 pound vests to pretend they're not getting their asses handed to them. Check those egos, men, time to step up our game!

OK, so I thought I would start this "Crossfit thing", and today's WOD looked do-able. I set out to do the sets, with ease, and after the second set, I came to the conclusion that "I suck!". I modified, with 5 set of 10 reps of each, and called it a day. But I am on my way!! I think Im loving this CF....

Burpees unbroken but slow, not at the top, but going through the burpee wasnt real fast.

Box jumpd were real slow, I still can't pogo them.

- Really felt like I was dragging; diet has went off the rails lately and I can definitely feel it
- Burpees off the AbMat really helped take some pressure off my left shoulder which is still feeling pinched
- Unrelated: First session with POSE coach earlier this morning...this is definitely going to help with my running!!!

9:06 for first 30 reps of each workout before the heat got to me. No chin-up bar so I laid down holding a weighted ball above my head on the ground and touched that with my toes. I've been following CrossFit for a while and this is my first WOD. I'm trying to drop some pounds while getting in some real shape again. I plan on keeping food, photo, and workout records so that if this helps me maybe it can inspire others to start getting into shape with CrossFit.

WOO! Sub 20! So happy with that time. And my DL is getting so much stronger! My old PR is a 1 rep max at 355. Being able to pull a 3 rep at 335 means I'm so going to hit 365 or 375 soon! I am getting so close to my goal of 405. It's weird cause today I didn't want to do the WOD at all after I finished my deads, then I came an took an awesome time (for me) on it. It's strange how sometimes the days you just wanna quit, if you don't quit, often end up being your best. I also totally lost a blood blister turned callous off of my finger. Yee!

One too many WOD's of my own creation out in the 110 degree heat yesterday. I need to leave the thinking to the experts. I had nothing left for this one today.

It was an abject failure. I did the 30 round, the 25 round and then after evaluating my condition for 30 seconds decided to do the 10 round and puss out.

30, 25 and 10 rep rounds- 14:27 minus the 30 seconds of mortal reflection. I officially did 65% of the WOD. I am officially a damned sissy.

I am seem to never have enuf foward and back room to do the T2B with rhythm. No room means toe, swing, stop, toe, repeat = slow. I've got the kip down just no room to do it, I figure with T2B my time would have been around 4-6 mins slower so I rather do K2E to keep the intensity plus the kip for those is less dramatic. Still a good WOD, in the gym and out in about 35 mins with warmup and cool down, CF is the s#!t. You can keep the "chest and back mondays", I'm good with this.

Just goes to show that I still have so much work to do. At first this WOD didn't look like much on paper, then after the first round I truely wanted to quit. Promised myself if I could get thru the second round I would let myself quit. Kept pushing and finally finished in a pool of sweat. One of the hardest WOD's I have completed. Modified - 20" box and rings instead of bar. I couldn't get my toes up so did knees quite bent.
