Comment #13 - Posted by: RichDC at May 29, 2008 6:06 PM

Explanation: You are trying to get your best 1 rep max of each exercise. This does not mean you are only doing 1 rep of each and your workout has ended. You are suppose to do the CrossFit Warmup, and then you would do 1 rep of each exercise adding weight each time until you have reached the point where you can't add any more. This will be your 1 rep total for that exercise.

You then add up the weight for these 3 exercises and post to comments. If you can get over 1000, you are pretty damn good. Semper Fi!

Comment #31 - Posted by: bleedCF at May 29, 2008 6:46 PM

I like the contrast of the Marines (Machines?) in the video against the music of outspokenly anarchist Rage Against the Machine. That's a little more irony than I'd expect from CF. I'm pleasantly surprised. Good work!

RIP CFHQ

Comment #45 - Posted by: steve at May 29, 2008 7:20 PM

Extra musings...

1) CFHQ. I never visited CFHQ, and I am a lesser man for that. Invited countless times, I could never pull it off. It's funny, eh, how one can mourn the loss of a place one has never visited. I'm surprised, and then again not so surprised, at how difficult it was to see that video--I must have gotten something in my eye. I shall rest easy knowing that CFHQ will always look the same to me, each time I visit one of the videos, each time I close my eyes and think about the first time I might visit. For in my mind the simple fact that I was invited to sit at the CF table, so warmly welcomed time and again...well...

2) CFHQ. So where to now? Whither CFHQ? The physical space is pretty much wherever Coach and Lauren may find themselves, now, and for as long as they choose to lead. It has always been thus it seems. Fear not Cory #28. The people who lead this Crossfit are fearless individuals who will continue to do so long after the memory of a particular CF box fades. They are fearless to the point where they purposefully seek to create something which will grow beyond their imaginations, grow long after they no longer provide the "fertilizer."

3)CFHQ. Is here. Right here. Always was. Always will be. I once asked Jeff Martin why he continued to post on these comments even after BrandX became huge and his simple answer was: "The Main Page is important to Coach."

I heard from a long-time Crossfitter the other day who told me he was re-dedicating his Main Page efforts. (I won't steal his thunder; he will announce it himself, but I am thrilled). I was going to muse about this on Sunday but this is a better time. The Crossfit Main Page and the Comments are now the de facto HQ. This is a shout out to all of the original Crossfitters to come home. Please re-join us here on the main page. Share your results. Share your wisdom. Share your techniques and technical know-how. Share what you are doing now in your garage or your affiliate. Share stories of the early days. Force feed the ethic of the original Crossfit. Honor, and teach others to honor the tradition.

I guess it's only by default, but I may finally be a member of CFHQ. As I've said on a number of occasions in the past it is truly extraordinary to find something, anything, that is such a revelation at mid-life. If I never received anything else than what I've already received it's a bounty beyond belief.

Ah, but there to be more. On July 4th I get my handshake. Thanks, Coach.

Sad to say I won't be doing this tommorow. It has been a while since I have done the Totals. I havn't felt comfortable doing dl's after I hurt my back doing them about 5 months ago. (poor form) I read some of the articles on the Cross Fit Totals today when this posted and found them extremly helpful. Went and worked on my form. Started with 135 and slowly worked my way up to 295. (PR 325) I felt comfortable and a lot stronger doing them after applying what I read. So just wanted to say thanks Coach and thanks crossfit.

A little off the path but, I have been doing cross fit for almost a year now at a regular gym. I would love to join a crossfit gym, and help support them but its almost 4x the cost of my gym now. True I have to sub a few things here and there, but over all I can do the WOD, plus continue on and do further workouts. Any one know why the price is so high?

Comment #50 - Posted by: Mike at May 29, 2008 7:34 PM

I don't feel ready to do another CFT. Not until i'm sure i can get that elusive 1300.

My last effort was 1230, so that leaves 70lbs to make up for.

Plus i need to work on my planche and front lever some more.

I love how crossfit is not just a workout, it's a family. I haven't met any of you who post on this page and I feel like I know all of you.

Thanks crossfit and coach for changing my life.

Comment #61 - Posted by: Keith D at May 29, 2008 7:54 PM

Is it ok to do cardio in the mornings hours before the WOD? Or would this just be detrimental to the workout?

Comment #62 - Posted by: Tyler at May 29, 2008 7:55 PM

CFHQ is one of those mythical places that is packed so dense with experiences, creativity and passion that it transcends its location. I'm sad to see it go in the sense that I'll never be able to return to a place I loved so much, but I'm excited by what its dismantling signifies. I'm proud to be a part of of the CF community. Coach & Lauren - I love you guys and thank you for bringing me into the family.

Comment #64 - Posted by: Raze at May 29, 2008 8:02 PM

Great thoughts bingo. I agree that the main page is the embodiment of HQ. Crossfit is where you make it. Your garage, a park, a combat zone, or even the shadowy corner of your local globo-gym. It's the enthusiasm, the drive to get that last rep, and the camaraderie. It's great if you can make it to an affiliate but by no means necessary.

Comment #65 - Posted by: Grammy at May 29, 2008 8:03 PM

i didn't think the video would get to me, but it certainly was emotional especially with the flag folding. i am proud to be a part of the "thing" we call crossfit. Coach, you are visionary and a role model.

Girlies are dangerous, they have a few and they're all over the good-lookin crossfitter (also on the Paleo diet) great abs, shredded..etc. etc.

Comment #69 - Posted by: thatadchic at May 29, 2008 8:21 PM

Don't know why but that video made my eyes water and my skin tingle. It was so simple and yet so powerful. USMC + Crossfit = Two organizations that share so much in common. The will to keep fighting even though your body is telling you to lay down. Somehow our mind realizes our body can continue, and it does.

Comment #70 - Posted by: steve at May 29, 2008 8:22 PM

Wow... Like many here I have never been to (the former?!) CrossFit HQ and am surprised to feel the regret welling up. Still I think it is an impressive move and one that hammer's home what Bingo said earlier in this post. CrossFit is here. Not just on this site but in everyone one who participates and shares in the workouts.

I am very grateful for not only Coach's generosity but also his integrity and grace. This is so much more to me than a simple workout page and I think that we are all feeling the richness that these wonderful people have added to our lives. I thank you Crossfit truly, deeply, thank you.

I started 2008 5'8" 243# and ~40%BF (out of range on scale). We found out we were having twins added to our family of our 2yo and my wife. My wife needed to gain 20# in 20wks. I thought, if she can gain that, I could do my part for my family and drop 20# in 20 weeks, like I said I would 2 years ago... I found CrossFit at the right time in many ways. I started by scaling and adapting the philosophies. After my first 20#s came off, I started doing the WOD's from the main page. Now I've dropped more than 40#!
I've wanted to share my thanks with Coach and all of the CrossFitters out there for a while and today's video spurred it on. Thank you for this invaluable resource (the main page) that you provide.

Comment #77 - Posted by: Rob T at May 29, 2008 8:46 PM

#46 - Bingo - great thoughts! I for one have had the amazing experience of being at CFHQ for not only my L1 cert, but my L2 back in January. I made it a point to get my L1 over a year ago at "the mothership" even though another cert was in the Southeast a month or two later and I now see what an honor it was to be at "the little box that could". The Marines hit it right on point - you walk in and it feels like home, even if you've never been there...

As for the original HQ trainers & students, I can only imagine the emotion of packing up the mecca you built. Thanks to Coach & the original CFHQ trainers for everything - reign on in Camp Pendelton!

CrossFitting: 1 year, 9 months
Career: Left a job in the corporate world exactly one year ago today to begin a life-changing career as the full-time Trainer & Manager of BTB CrossFit. I also travel to L1 certs as a trainer and hope to visit many more boxes this year.
Biggest accomplishments (which change on a regular basis thanks to the awesome programming & continual PR's): 30 Muscle Up's RX'd; Dropping from 21% to 13% body fat since starting CrossFit... and only losing a total of 4 pounds on the scale.

People ask me all the time what I do for a living, and every day I become more proud to say I'm a full-time CrossFit Trainer.

I finally went to a sports doctor about a shoulder problem from benching on "Linda" 3 months ago. I've only done one push-up workout since and still cannot do ring dips. The good news is its nothing serious. I have over developed my frontal deltoids (or at least the front muscles of my shoulders) and the back of my shoulders need their strength to be improved so that the nerves/ligament or something isn't pinched when I work my chest. I've got a bunch of rehab excercises to do and a shot of cortisone (might be how you spell it) and the doc says it should be healed soon. However, I have to take the next few days off to let the drug work. Hopefully, I'll hit the CFT up on Sunday and improve my PR by over 50#'s. Based on my recent PR's, this is definitely a realistic goal.

Anyway, I can't wait to be able to do burpees, Cindy, and all the other workouts I've been missing again. Hopefully, i'll have the patience to let a full recovery occur before I mess things up again. Its hard, but necessary. Wish me luck.

Coach,
Outstanding to see you yesterday and today at the CrossFit Ripper Cert. I greatly appreciate you conducting the Cert for our brothers & sisters at 29 Palms (AKA: The Stumps!). Your team of trainers, Dave, Jolie, Jimi & Todd were first class, and all the attendees were highly impressed! The classes you gave were noteworthy, as usual. Col McCoy and I can't thank you enough for your generosity & patriotism! I look forward to seeing you at the Camp Pendleton Cert in 2 weeks and at my Change-of-Command on 27 June. Operation Phoenix has been a resounding success, and your original equipment has already trained hundreds of Marines!

I visit the main CF website daily and have been doing "Crossfit" just over a year now.
I share it with “Friends & Family” whenever I have the opportunity!

“Crossfit” is the BEST!!!... I "Love" it!

I am so glad I had the opportunity to train at HQ a few months back with Annie and Hollis and Rob Miller coaching me up. I remember walking up being a bit nervous to train at the location of the videos I had watched so many times. I had a great time and the energy of the place was quite amazing from the impressive group of trainers and trainees I got to meet. It and the cert were some of the moments I would say that brought me in to the larger Crossfit community and out of just my gym here in Atlanta.

So thanks and I look forward to new HQ.

Coach, I was originally drawn to crossfit, not just by the fitness, but by the ethics that accompanied it. I have always been inspired by an earlier quote of your that stated "We're doing all the right things, for all the right people, for all the right reasons". I try my best to use that philosophy day in and day out to run my affiliate and am so greatful that I am apart of a community that holds true to those words at every level. Your words and deeds are held in high regards. Thank you.

The best video that has ever been posted on crossfit, hands down.

I am so glad to be a part of this revolution.

Coach and Lauren, you two are the best and I really appreciate what the two of you are doing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I feel so out of the loop! I hurt my knee 3 weeks ago (prob ACL tear) and have not been posting. When I do check in, CFHQ is coming down. I've kind of stayed away because I've been afraid to see what kind of fun I've been missing. My workouts now are just strength building and all upper body. I cant wait to get this repair done and start therapy. I sucks to by soo close to a 1000# CFT and now have to wait for 6 months of rehab to get back to that shape. I'm with you guys is spirit and through the people I train.
Thanks Coach for all the good and humbling videos from CFHQ. I think I speak for all the CrossFit generation when I say thanks for inviting us into your family of fitness and giving so much.

Coach, Boz, Robbie Miller, Nicole, and to those that I have not had the honor to meet along the way. Thank you so much for providing me with the inspiration to not only become a better athlete and CrossFitter, but a better human being. To say your actions speak louder than words does not do justice to the depth and breadth of your touch on my life. I spent only a week in California, but your inspirations continue to reach me daily, even though I'm now on the other side of the world.

I feel that there is something inherent in CrossFit that draws only the best and brightest of our society. It is evident everyday: on the main page, on the forum, and at every box around the world. CrossFit isn't just changing the face of fitness - that's too easy, too small a task for such a potent force. CrossFit is changing the way people view life; it's changing the way the other 23.5 hours every day are spent.

I remember my visit to Santa Cruz, to HQ. My friend Nate Scott and I driving to mecca in the dark of night, unable to resist the pull, unable to wait until dawn. I feel so lucky that I was able to train at CFHQ, if only once. I feel lucky to be led in a workout by Annie. It was an experience that I will never forget: chasing Oliver on each Fed Ex run, Annie's motivational cries, thinking "Greg A. did pull-ups in this same spot." Although some would consider this a sad day, I'm comforted knowing that my sweat and blood, and that of countless others, will continue to fuel the fire for Marines day in and day out at CrossFit Camp Pendleton.

I am so proud to serve alongside the Marines, Soldiers, and Airmen in the defense of freedom around the world. CrossFit doesn't just Forge Elite Fitness...it is forging a new breed of warrior and a culture that will continue to sustain our efforts around the globe for years to come.

This all started with Greg and Lauren, to them I am forever grateful.

First, Thanks to Coach - we are indebted to you for the knowledge, strength, and inspiration that crossfit has brought to each of us.
Second - from the posts I gather that Lauren is Coach's significant other, is that correct? Is she featured or interviewed in any of the videos?

Very insightful. I'm gonna totally geek out and say it's just like Neo going back into the Matrix.

Thank you, Coach and Lauren, for the guidance and opportunities you've offered to all of us. And thank you for your commitment. You're a class act.

Before I first stumbled across this site about a year ago, I was just a lonely guy doing weird exercises in the base gym while the chest-and-tri's-back-and-bi's boys were rolling their eyes at me between working on their posing routines and sipping from a 2 liter of MEGAGAINER 8000.

Suddenly, it was as if a curtain had dropped showing me this fantastic community of people who'd been there all along, just as curious about better ways to train but vastly superior to me in knowledge and ability and I was hugely inspired! Like many here, I was one of the fittest people I knew but so dissatisfied because I knew there had to be a better way. I commend you for your clarity of vision. It is my great pleasure to speed the revolution.

Can't download the videos b/c the connection is so poor. Sounds like a good one.

Last night was Up-Armored Cindy. 11 rds in full Battle Rattle (approx 33 lbs). Felt like a 20 min Fran. Hung up my t-shirt & found a 1 ft. pool of sweat underneath an hour later.

Thanks Coach for everything. Crossfit changed my life. Dramatically and in many different ways. I'm all the better for it, and many around me as well. Coach doesn't just talk or write about helping others, he does it selflessly. Coach and Lauren, I want you to know your support for the Armed Forces and first responders is greatly appreciated. It's inspiring frankly, and I'm proud to be a part of the community.

If I had to hazzard a guess as to why the CFHQ has closed it would be that:

1. Lots of new affiliates means that certifications can and are being run all over the place, not just at CFHQ.

2.That the CFHQ has done its job in training the first (and probably second and third) generation of trainers, so the knowledge and skills are out there in depth

3. That CFHQ is probably too small to host the large groups CF can now attract to the Certs

4. Running a gym day to day is probably a hassle and fairly time consuming (just read May's CFJ), and why bother if you don't need to? I would guess that Coach's time is much better spent directing the global CF empire.

5. Rent. I can only guess that day to day classes don't bring in much revenue, so why continue to rent a property if it is unnecessary to your main mission which is web based, world wide fitness?

I am really glad I got to see it in the flesh in January, and met Annie who was running a class at the time. (I felt like a teenager meeting a rockstar idol :-)
I am also relieved that we ended up training at N.Santa Cruz, which is a much bigger, better put together location.

Coach, Lauren. Thanks for all the lives you've touched and improved.

You guys are PT machines! I have Camp Pendelton's site marked in favorites, and I look to see if I can compete with your daily numbers - haha (I don't usually, but it's fun to try to compete with the best)...you have an OUTSTANDING site, particularly on rest days. My dad retired from the Marines (he flew A-4's), and I send him links to your site regularly. Keep up the good work on CF and on the site!

How I was able to PR on the press with a shoulder that wont allow me to hang on a pull-up bar without dislocating... I will never know.

Bingo, no thunder to steal mate. Just gonna put my head down for a month and give a little something to this community that has given me so much.

Folks, Bingo set an example in January - drip feeding fresh faces with the info we old sweats have gained by painful experience, diligent research or other folks who gave generously of their time.

Not spoon feeding, taking responsibility is a part of what we do. Instead, helping folks who are taking a leap of faith with something new.

I'm not as smart or as funny as Bingo but for the month of June I will be trying to answer the oft-repeated questions before they are asked for the month of June (time zone helps here). This also coincides with my return to following the main page WOD and posting results in the lead up to the Games next month.

Looking forward to coming home.

Cheers, kempie

So, this will be my first total. I just back to pressing and squatting has been non existent since before christmas (haven't had access to rack) I'm hoping to rick up into the 1000lb club with my first crack at this wod.

Could be wishful thinking but im guessing my Jamaican genes will pull me through haha.

Well said Bingo.

Thanks.

great video today. i also got goosebumps and misty. not sad that HQ was being broken down, but the potential that passing a torch (not "the" torch, since we all have been given one) to the marines at Pendleton represents. a proud moment and perhaps an amazing turning point for our little community.

bingo, thanks for your comments. your musings are always spot on. i watched the video and got a touch of sadness and confusion seeing the break down, then i thought, "it doesn't matter. we don't need a physical structure. CFHQ is the mainsite and comments anyway." this is home.

thanks coach and lauren for everything. and everything to come. God bless you boys (and girls!) down at Pendleton. no better shoulders to hang such a traditon.

As a newbee crossfitter (3 months) but a life long Police Officer and National Guard Infantry soldier who deployed overseas. I must say this was one of the best video I have ever watched on the site. Donating that equipment, that life saving equipment to the Marines of Camp pendalton is hugh. Soldiers and Marines in battle need a strong mind and body to complete the mission. This is helping complete the mission, great job you are a true Patriot. Sgt P

Great video and thanks for the thoughts Bingo. You could see the generational change coming with so many HQ trainers branching out to open their own affiliates across Santa Cruz. Funny to feel sentimental about a place I've never been, but having seen so many inspiring performances there, it's hard not to feel that way.

Coach, you found an amazing way to make what could be a difficult occasion a tremendous opportuntity for growth. As usual, you made the obvious choice - pass it along to those who need it most. Thanks for all you do for this community.

Glad to see a CF Total today. Being in the midst of a SS cycle, I've been away from the main page. It will be particuarly nice to join in today. I was going to squat, press and deadlift anyways. Don't know if I'll make my post-SS goal of 800, but I'm sure gonna try.

The picture on my computer desktop right now is a snapshot of Crossfit Santa Cruz. It's a picture taken at twilight of the gym from outside and in it you can see the array of all the standard crossfit equipment. I found this picture at the bottom of the "Garage Gym" article which I first poured over shortly after I first stumbled across Crossfit about a year ago. Crossfit SC been my computer desktop ever since.

For some reason this picture of Crossfit SC just seems to completely sum up what Crossfit is all about to me. The simple tools (that do so much good). The big open garage doors symbolizing how accessible Crossfit is (and all fitness should be). And the intimacy with the outdoors during a gorgeous southern California twilight.

Watching today's video is just too much for me. Crossfit literally saved my life and it feels like your are demolishing the shrine of the one pure entity I still believe in.

Mike # 50-
Everyone of our clients is clearly aware that they could train at a globo gym for 5-6x less money than they pay to train with us. We are preparing to move to a 6,000sqft location from 2,000 because we have no place left to put people. this is a round-about way of saying we are very busy. As far as I can tell, the only things we offer are coaching and community...so I suspect those value added items make our offerings at least 5-6x more valuable than training alone at a big box. All I can say is give it a shot and see if it's worth it.

The one thing that has stood out to me the most about watching Coach's videos is that he does not compromise his values. He speaks with 100% confidence and always has the knowledge to back up his statements. It is a constant reminder that we are participating in the best fitness program the world has to offer. A video like this reminds me not to take Crossfit for granted and to put the effort that this program deserves into each workout.

Shoulder Press (1RM 65#)
3-3-3-3-3
45-55 fx3-50-55-65 fx3

Back Squat (1RM 175#)
5-5-5-5-5
95-115-115-125-135 fx1

super-setted these and took a 4' break between sets. since they worked two entirely different muscle groups i figured it didn't harm anything. how different these lifts are for me -- SP, i have to NOT think and just walk up to the bar and go. BS, i have to spend my 4' rest visualizing my form and constantly think. also, i used the "girl" bar (15# bar) for SP to see if i could progress better. don't know if it helped. only failed on my last squat because i actually sat down on my little guide box. i can't hang clean 135, so i took the "f".

also, i am saddened by my regression in pullups. i have to renew focus to get them back. i am going to use bands now (as few as possible) in my warmup and work on kipping drills again. now that i can definitely do pullups every day, i think i'll get it back quickly.

Beautiful video...2 of my favorite bands, loads of my favorite people.

I made my first trip to CFHQ on March 10,'03. I had been following the WOD with Dave Werner up in Seattle but I had to make a pilgramage down to the place it started and...my life was transformed. Up to that point I was chasing a Phd but I knew I had to give CrossFit a go. About 9 months later CF NorCal was open in Chico, CA...but it all goes back to that first trip to Santa Cruz and the relationships that started that day.

Marines: You guys have always led the way and you were the first to REALLY embrace CF and run with it. You are ALL my heroes. I've never served but if I did, I'd have to be a Marine...otherwise Coach Burgner would kick my ass!

I'm behind...I did:

Monday 080526
"Jason"

For time:
100 Squats
5 Muscle-ups (3 pull-ups/dips instead)
75 Squats
10 Muscle-ups (3 pull-ups/dips instead)
50 Squats
15 Muscle-ups (3 pull-ups/dips instead)
25 Squats
20 Muscle-ups (3 pull-ups/dips instead)

Yesterday...my time was 50 minutes, but was more or less just trying to accomplish it!

Way to emotional to say anything coherent about the video. This community is so great and caring...I have never been to an official Crossfit facility..just my little garage gym and I am sad to see CFHQ go.

Went to the local globo gym (haven't been in one in 2 years) to do the Total today because the last time I maxed out my weights at home.

I tried to rush it and it showed on the squat. Did one half*%$sed rep of 205 and failed on the second attempt. (205 is PR from before). Press was better and did 85, 115, 125(f). Dead 185, 205, 225 (PR). Warmed up with CFWU two rounds. Just pounded out the pullups and was very happy with that at least.

Crossfitting since late '05 after reading NY Times article but rarely post.

Outstanding video. Echo sentiments of Lt Col Wilson and Mike that it feels like I've been at CFHQ all my life though I never stepped foot there.

Thanks to Coach and Lauren and all I've come to know through the site.

That was my first CFT. Just started in May and I love it. The WODs tend to be tougher than the all day workouts from my time in the police academy!

26/m/195.8 (couple of lbs lighter!!)

1014 lbs for my first total. Really pleased with this, definitely more in the tank but it's been over 6 months since i've squatted or pressed heavy or regular.

All witnessed by my CFNEE partner Kempie.

Breakdown

Squat 370lbs
Press 170lbs (went for 175 but missed)
Deadlift 474lbs

I took only two attempts at squat and dead as i'd set myself a goal earlier in the day.

It seems my faith in the good ol' Jamaican genes paid off. Happy days.

Just watched the video....wow. I train at Cross Fit affiliate, SPARK Sport Conditioning in Edmonton Alberta. It is a smaller gym just like the Santa Cruz location was. We have such a tight group of people that train there and our coach is such a great guy.....I can only imagine how hard that must have been for everyone involved. Good luck Camp Pendleton!

It's in the FAQ section, and a video demo is in the exercise description section.

The "official" CrossFit Warm-up is in the April 2003 CrossFit Journal.

3 rounds of 10-15 reps of
Samson Stretch (do the Samson Stretch once each round for 15-30 seconds)
Overhead Squat with broomstick
Sit-up
Back-extension
Pull-up
Dip
Note that for a workout that's dip or pullup-centric, you might want to do something else in the warmup.

Won't be around any amount of weight or a rack today so subbed a home workout using what I had available.

400M sprint
8 rounds for time of:
10 Bosu Pushups
5 30# DB Thrusters
10 Pilates style situps

Completed in 11:20

My 2 year old got a kick outta slapping me every rep of the situps. He actuall jumped on me during the pushups. Guess he thought it was a fun ride.
Toddlers simply aren't a good influence when exercising for time but it doesn't get much more fun then that! :)

GREAT VIDEO! CrossFit ROCKS!

Thanks for the kind words! It's definitely nice to hear from someone else outside our affiliate letting us know that they like the site. If you are trolling our website, please post to comments. We'd love to hear from some new voices out there.

Good luck with "Radio". It's quite the workout... I would venture to say it is almost on par with "Murph". Good luck and Thanks again.

Wow! I've been "sorta" doing CF for a couple of years, and recently a doctor expresssed surprise at the strength etc, exhibited by a 62 yr old who weighed over 300 lbs. The reason, of course, is what I learned on this site--and the constant incentive to catch up with the CF-ers who made the videos at HQ and elsewhere.l

When I first began to watch the video, I thought," what about Coach and Lauren? What about Nichole? Where are they going to go now? Then I realized it really doesn't matter where the phyhsical "plant: is--they'll always exemplify Crossfit-- no matter where the winds take them.

Thanks to Coach ,and all of you. I'm recovering from a surgery at the moment, and already starting to make strength gains and amazing weight loss--all because of Crossfit and the philosophy taught by Greg Glassman. In the words of my grandchildren--"you guys ROCK!"

Need to work more on shoulders. My stats don't seem to have the same ratio as alot of other CF'ers posting. Does this seem to be odd, or is it more common place than I'm thinking?

Also, I would like to thank Coach and Lauren for all they have done over the years. We are truly blessed.

I hope to make it up to CFCP soon and pay my respects to those who have gone before, for their legacy is a constant reminder to continually push our own limits.
