My money is on the distinguished looking gentleman as the fittest of the bunch.

Me, too. He definitely has the better form.

The distinguished looking gentleman in the picture is Cadet Noftsger. Without giving out too much information, he is in his late 40's and you are right, is in pretty good shape. In fact, out of 35 cadets, he is probably in the top five. Cadet Noftsger is a perfect arguement against imposed age restrictions when it comes to hiring law enforcment officers. After all, you are only as old as you feel and this gentleman is consistently outperforming cadet who are literally half his age.

Conicidently, this photograph was taken near the end of their workout. The three exercises involved were a 1/4 mile run, the deadlift (X 12), and pull-ups (X 10). Rounds in 20 minutes.

Jon,
Very cool to see the impact you are having on the training there. Please keep us posted. Speaking as a soon to be distinguished gentleman it is great to see your Cadet doing so well.

This morning: Handstands, pegboard, depth jumps, short-rope jumps. This afternoon: Swimming. Throughout the day: Weighted dips, pegboard. Pretty relaxing pace.

Need work on the squats. I was able to get lower on each set as I limbered up, but still need to go rock bottom. Sub'd 24 KG KB swings for pull-ups. I was pleased with improved push up strength today (maybe b/c I wasn't able to to pull-ups--worked out at home).
