27! What the... That is impressive.
Run 5K - 18:17.7
This is one of the quickest 5Ks I've run in awhile. I think I've got some room to drop...when I saw how quickly I'd gone out, I got concerned, thinking I might gas towards the end, and slowed a bit. The thing I was most impressed with was how quickly I recovered...within 2 minutes of finishing my HR was back down.
27! I hope that appears on a future DVD release!
Congratulations! It's tough to stand out in this group, but I definitely think that qualifies. I don't think I could do a single set of 27 in 20 seconds.
5K row, 23.39. The last few days have really burned my legs. I guess that's the point.
I,m not certain of the distance, but I'msure of the time.... 21:30 and all hills in Boone, NC the second half was one minute faster than the first half thanks to Issac Newton
23:31 - PR! 53 degrees, rain, and lots of mosquitos...
I probably have the swarms of those bloodthirsty flying hypodermic needles to thank for my best 5K time to date; I wasn't feeling good or focused this morning, but even while running I could see the buzzing terrors circling me like creepy little vultures. No cool down walking for me today - it was a mad dash back to safety of the car. I spent the next five minutes inside the car swatting the nasty little beasts that followed me in when I opened the door. It's that time of year again.
I'm a bit late posting this morning because the Crossfit DVD arrived - those are some amazing performances! After watching Dave Leys power through Fran, I know I have a very long way to go. And to think I was so proud of my time...:(
Amazing as Greg, Dave and Matt are, I have to admit the four-legged track star stole the show! Thank you Greg and Lauren for allowing all of us to be amazed and inspired.

My legs were pretty stiff from yesterday's WOD. I also keep getting a cramp under the bottom of my rib cage and a sharp pain in my shoulder every time I run hard.
25:02
Its a hot one, 89 degrees with about 95% humidity here in Florida. Felt slow the whole way.
Jeff: 21:45
Connor: 22:50
30 min unit PT run. Approx 3 mi, more or less. One of these days, I'll measure the course!
Urban 5k in the rain.Time was 24:01.Dodged numerous mudpuddles, clouds of exhaust fumes and a persistent panhandler.
Need to find a new route. After ingesting all that carbon monoxide I probably would have been better off sitting home smoking a cigarette!
19:40. legs and core torched from the past two days. I had to back off after starting too fast.
Matt T.
Got a great mental picture of "persistent panhandler" running the 5K alongside you, begging for change.
C2 5k
Time= 18:57 26s/m 238w Ave. HR=159b/m
5sec slower than PR of last C2 5K, felt sluggish the whole piece. One positive is that I brought my s/m from 29 last time to 26.
I ran almost an even 21 minute time for the run. I think I was off by 5 seconds.
From our neck to our knees, there isn't a spot on our body that doesn't hurt when you touch it. We can barely situp in bed, and though that we would have to hobble out the 5k... Surprisingly we were able to manage a jog during most of the 5k. If one of us slowed the other would just jog in place until the other could continue, for a team time of 35:42.
We love you crossfit.
-Richard and Felicia :)
Row 5k
18:13.8 (PR)
1:49.4 split

That one was really painful. I was battling myself the whole way trying to beat my old PR of 18:16.
Looks like I'm still towards the rear of the pack, though I did shave a minute off my time compared to the last 5k we had. Starting to get off the treadmill and run outside. Had a nice evening run in the rain. My time for this one was 26:34.
Matt - great time!
Richard, Felicia - I admire your teamwork in performing the WODs. Keep up the good work!
28:07 pushing a covered jogging stroller in the rain. Good times!
Missed a lot of sleep last night due to my 3 week old daughter wanting to stay up all night and my 3 year old son kicking me all night when I did finally get to bed.
Did pull-ups at the park with my son today and had a PR 10 sets of 10 good pull-ups with no kipping, swinging, or other aid. I am really stoked and really sold on Crossfit.
Will have an "active" rest day tomorrow and run my 5K.
24:05
legs sore from the previous 2 days. I tried hard to beat my previous best, missed by 4 seconds. Next time I'll nail it! I'm getting the rust off my old drivetrain.
25:31 and I'm stoked..! I've never run more than about a mile in my life - always avoided running any kind of distance.
But I got through 5km and at the end I wasn't even out of breath..! Legs are feeling the last few days though...
24:48
6am run & was still half asleep, I'm usually around the 22 min mark.
33:10
In the rain and with legs of jello from the past two days. First time to run in six months and the first week of WODs.
20:35
I thought i would manage alot better than this, but i am dead afterthe last two workouts. My abds are still killing me from the L Pull ups last week!!
My 5k turned out to be ~4k:
Just under 16:00.
Ran this on Thursday afternoon; I'm only posting late. That AM: Bottoms-up squat singles with a pause on the way down just above the pins, pull-ups and HLRs, a few cossack pistols, and a couple hours fighting the good fight against invasive bamboo and ivy,
Rajesh, that was a truly impressive performance. At what level did you set the resistance to get that time with under 25 s/m?
2.9 mile course around campus
26:14
uh....but it was really hilly!! hehe :)
13 Laps on the treadmill in 25 minutes. 3.25 miles. I think that's about 5k.
-D.
Ran 3 miles on a running track in 23:00. Barefoot! This is a first endurance workout in a long time. First 3 miles ever.
