What is the substitute for the Row ? I am at the F.D tomorrow. We have a low pulley. Was it sumo DL high pulls ? Reps...? Thanks.
By the way, crossfit is catching at my F.D. Got the journal along with my Capt. Congrats Crossfit K.C, waiting for one in my area.

No breaks on any of the pushups! A PR for me. I applied a technique I learned from Pavel's NW book to the pushups - I worked on "screwing" my shoulders into their sockets and it did help maintain my strength and endurance on one of my weakest exercises.

The rowing was dreadful; I "forgot" how to row the first round and pulled a really lousy time. The second round was much better at 30 seconds less than the previous effort. I need to practice rowing a little more often.

No breaks on pushups or btw. sets; could have rowed a little faster though.

14:30. Subbed runs for rows; no access to rower this morning. Finished with HLRs.

I wish I had the energy to do this at the level of intensity it deserved. I was good for nothing this morning - still terminally fatigued from Thursday's wall-ball.

12:44, I also subbed runs for rows and hence the slower time...My and runs = slow. I got 44 push-ups on the first round - PR. No breaks on the others.

11:00 minutes flat. No breaks on p/u's. Could have rowed a little faster.

George - If you don’t have a rower substitute sumo-dealift high pulls (sdhp) with 45 pounds for men and 30 pounds for women. Take the bar from mid shin to under your chin – “shin to chin”.

2K row = 200 sdhp’s, 1K row = 100 sdhp’s, 500 meter row = 50 sdhp’s

Ran instead of rowing (out of town, no erg). No breaks, panting like crazy, felt great.

This was harder than it looked on paper.
Happy Memorial Day weekend, everyone, and keep those who served and are currently serving in your thoughts and prayers.

WellI looked @ the times &figured out why mine was so logn compared to everyone elses & I should probably not admit this but I rowed the 1000m three times so I guess my time would have been 12:somethinf. Looks like I need more work on my reading skills

9:20. Then did 155 lb. power cleans alternated with some jumping over benches. My first row was around 3:35, the second sucked, it was around 3:50. The pushups were pretty easy, I've been doing a lot of them recently.

Comment #26 - Posted by: ross greenberg at May 30, 2004 6:16 PM

12:25. Had to partition the SDHP 40-40-20, 30-30-30-10. No partition on the pushups. I love this stuff.
