I felt so good this morning that I ran a 3-K. It was a nice easy pace. Do any of you guys ever do something easy and fun like this on your off days?

For Fun? We have an indoor basketball court at my company and we play at lunch every M,W,F. I am looking forward to today's game because it is a WOD rest day and hopefully I will have my legs. Crossfit has made a noticeable difference in my quickness and jumping ability. The only problem is that I am worn out half the time and don't want to rest and miss a WOD because it makes me feel guilty.

Gary...for me at least the answer is yes. I did a nasty ab workout this morning, followed by about 45 min. of SwimPT. I've got Krav Maga this evening also.

Gary...me too...did 10x400m distance intervals on the Concept2 at about a 1:51/500m pace.

Did Sun. WOD today...
5 rounds for time of:
21 40 pound dumb-bell swings (21/12,9/12,9/12,9/12,9)
21 knees to elbows (11,10/7,7,7/7,7,7/7,7,7/7,7,5,2)
75 single jump-rope (75/75/75/75/75)

TOTAL TIME= 42:06
Ave. HR= 145b/m

Max. HR went to ~165b/m
Had significant grip problems with knees to elbows, that was the reason for the broken sets.

Rowed a 1000m after physical therapy today. Snuck in with a time of 3:28.1.

If you people have this much left in you on the "Rest Day", you're not doing the WOD hard enough (grin).

For me, when I come to my rest day (not today), man, I take it . . .
