Is the WOD the only workout we should be doing on that day, or should we be supplementing it with other "elective" workouts?

I wish the grass in my backyard looked like that.

It's nice for a day off. I'm still doing my PushUps and SitUps today. Also, I ran this morning.
1/2 mile warm-up
6x200m intervals with 200 meter rest between
2.5 mile run at a fair pace.

Ran about 2.5 miles for unit PT. Fantasized about the grass in the photo as we slogged through the snow and slush.

Got to some activities not normally available to me today. My therapist took me out into the main gym area of the facility where they are based out of. After doing some machine work, she instructed me to do stairmaster work for ten minutes and then meet her back in her office. I did 5 minutes before getting bored and succumbing to the temptation of the Concept IIs located across the basketball court. Did 1340 meters in 5 minutes.

Julia's gymnastics started this week. Friday night is open gym. After watching the kids play for about 90 minutes, I had a chance to go out on the main floor. Did some parallette work, pull-ups, TTBs. Tried getting a muscle up, but no such luck today. Will try again next week.
