Coach & Lauren,

That equipment looks AWESOME! I'm excited to see what new gymnastics skills you'll introduce for us to learn, incorporate and master. Looks like I might need to invest in a mushroom sooner than I had planned. This is going to be great!

For those interest in "bodyweight" only exercises there is no better resource then that of gymnastics - period! That is why it is one of the three core elements of CrossFit. It is also the significance of Roger's http://www.drillsandskills.com/ post about that topic on the message board.

By the way, the January 2004 CrossFit Journal was once again superb. I especially appreciated the discussion of development of the press to a handstand. It was just what I was looking for. I've got a great hallway at work to start working on the "challenge." Greg & Lauren, thank you for your high standards and the quality of the information in the CrossFit Journal. I just renewed my subscription last Saturday. I also just ordered the first two of the four Milo journals referenced from that issue.

looks awful and I am wondering also what to expect, but please remember a lot of us train at home and do not have the space and or equipment.

Coach, another testimonial (as if you needed it): As you know I'm seeking out non-weight routines to avoid reinjuring my back. So I went back in the archives to 010407, a sequence of pullups, squats, pushups, situps and back extensions, done in sets of five. Just a year ago, I felt good about doing 18 rotations in 20 minutes, total 90 reps of each. Today I did 36 rotations in 30 minutes, 180 reps each exercise, double the former limit in just 150 percent of the time, and it was a relative breeze. So even for an old wreck like me, Crossfit works. Crossfit rules!

I'm trying to do the 5 work 2 rest program, this is only my 1st week. Anyone have any good suggestions for a workout today?
