Holy Smoke! Who ARE these people, Ethel?

Geez...Kelly could lose one leg and still beat me on the WOD's. Amazing how she trained her cats to be photographers too ;-)

When I try that, my butt just gets sucked to the ground (help, I've pistoled and I can't get up!). Awesome job, Kelly.

Well, Jon, that explains why Puff isn't in the picture!

Kelly,

I showed your pic to some of the jazercise/cardio kick-boxing devotee women at work. They were very impressed (two are converting to Crossfit), and couldn't believe you don't do 90 minutes of "cardio" every day of the week.

Running isn't my strong point and I hate cold weather; the two don't mix well for me. The first two miles were done with legs of lead. I wasn't loafing today, I just didn't have any spring. Just kept moving...at least the last mile felt better.

I'm convinced that these glutes are made for squatting, not running.

Thank you to everyone for the nice comments!

I was inspired to make pistols a priority since seeing the picture of Steve Cotter doing them with two 72# kettlebells...that is amazing.

I am glad today just consisted of running because my entire upper body is shot from Chelsea yesterday. Time today was 23:11 (tm). Best I've done in a long time, but still far from where I eventually want to be.

33:24:54 Your times are safe.

I went through the whole day today saying "I'm not running tonight."

...I just did.

23:26.

God, I HATE running.

Comment #13 - Posted by: Kevin Roddy at December 4, 2003 4:35 PM

Did 3 miles. 29m10s.

Comment #14 - Posted by: Q at December 4, 2003 5:00 PM

3 miles 20:11. Thirteen seconds slower than last time but legs were fairly toasted and tight from the previous Chelsea. 480 squats is not the ideal peaking taper for a time trial. Ran this at night due to rain and lack of sleep this am, perfect conditions tonight of about 50 F with no wind, less than normal humidity and no bugs.

Kelly , if you hate cold weather why live in the tropics of Wisconsin?

Comment #16 - Posted by: Ed Velasco at December 4, 2003 6:52 PM

25:01 today. An improvement of 2:11 since the last one. Still need to get it down lower. Would like to see a sub 20 time before summer.

Love to run, ran with the local running group for about 6.5 miles. The legs were a tad tender after the previous days workout.

21:33 - God only knows how I pulled this one off. Between Chelsea yesterday and the run today, having trouble walking. I hate cold weather!

Bad,but I,ve haven't run that distance in some years. I hope it will improve.

35:33 on the treadmill. I HATE running!

Comment #21 - Posted by: Lynne Pitts at December 8, 2003 5:12 PM

26:03 for 3 miles. It's funny how every time I run these 3 milers I'm convinced for the first 6-8 laps that I'm not going to finish, but I always do. I don't like this workout, but it's good for me to do it.
