This is snatch rt-lft-rt-lft...to 30, then 30 pull-ups. Then snatch rt-lft-rt-lft...to 20, then 20 pull-ups. Then snatch rt-lft-rt-lft...to 10, then 10 pull-ups. All for time.

BW=245, 32kg kb + 10# plate, time of 34:29

This was ugly. I took the wimpy approach from the beginning with the snatch and did singles and doubles just to make sure I could complete the WOD. The pullups started with a 10 in the first set and ended with singles and doubles in the last set.

Have a good day all.

Used a 1 pd kb, dead stop/no swing for each rep. Kettlebells don't reward sloppiness - it nearly bit my head on the last rep when I was tired and trying to rush. As usual, the pullups ended with doubles and/or singles to finish. My shoulders are done for the day.

55 lb. dumbbell
178 Bodyweight

THE MOST FUN YOU CAN WITH A DUMBBELL!!!!

1-arm snatches are a gem. Did the entire workout with no dividing up the reps. Thanks for including these again Coach. Doing these in parallel with my training partner is a blast! Felt like the old time lifters.

I did 45 lbs. It took 19:30.
I weigh 180, but I was way to tired from the WOD's earlier in the week(I am on the 5 day on, 2 off program), and I worked outside all day.

Bw 163 used 55 pound dumbbell. Great workout!

Ok. It took me 51:32 to do this yesterday. I can't figure out the snatch. I guess I need to read up on it. I could not do 1/3 my body weight, 70lbs. I used 40lb db pretty pathetic. But I guess it is good that I completed it.

Tony,

You've got determination dude to stick with this workout to completion. Way to go!

Started to do the pull ups with weight attached and figured out it was only for the snatches. Have an excuse though, was in Milwaukee since Thursday for Harley Davidsons 100th Birthday. Great time.

Way to go Tony, nice work.

I counted right-left 1 right-left2 right-left 3 Is that correct?

Comment #12 - Posted by: Bo at September 2, 2003 8:35 PM

Bo:

I sure hope you're wrong. My understanding was that it was Right-1, Left-2, Right-3, Left-4, etc. to 30 . . . so it's 15 Rights and 15 Lefts.

If it's the way you propose (total of 60 in the first set), well, it would have taken me quite a bit longer to get there.

BWT 183
60 Lb Dumbbell

I broke the pullps into sets of three with a few deep breaths between sets. This really improved my time for the pullups compared with trying to do a max set each time until I hit 21.
