One question, Rest and repeat all three rounds? Or just one more round?

Why are the sunday's WOD not put up until late in the day??? I checked all day Sunday and didn't see the WOD until late evening...

Time 13.35. I knew I wouldn't catch Greg's time, but it was fun trying.

12:20 on Sunday's WOD. Any possibility of starting an old guy's division? I'm 58 and started Crossfit six weeks ago. I'm making improvements, but I haven't had a chance at anything approaching Greg's time in 30 years!

Just a thought.

Tom:

Greg Amundson's performance on most WODs is sort of "other-worldly" . . . I don't think you need to worry about not living up to them. It's awesome to know that someone is doing those times, and fun to see what you can do in comparison, but not many of us are going to come close.

As far as an "old guy" division, yeah, sometimes I wish we could add a component to the scoring like "mutliply your score (if it's weight lifted) or divide (if it's time) by the number of years since you were 25" . . . the older you are, the better your score. (Of course, Greg might still kick my ass, even with that adjustment). I doubt I'm going to match your time of 12:20 when I get to this WOD.

But, in general CrossFit (like life itself), doesn't have age or weight (or even gender) divisions . . . when you need strength or power, circumstances aren't likely to adjust themselves for you.

I really struggled on this WOD, perhaps I could blame it on lack of sleep, or jet-lag, or the fact that I have not been able to follow the WOD for the last week; however the truth is it just plain hurt! I managed 9:42 for the first round and 13:34 for the second. Not impressive I know, but definately painful!

11:19 with baby PUKIE present. I didn't care to put a watch to round two.

11:55. Ouch.

Oooh boy. In a case of total hypocrisy, I will now fully support the 'old guys division' idea, or the 'heat index was 103' idea, or anything else that would spare me the embarrassment of my naked time: 16:20

Pull-ups were the worst, but it wasn't like the rest of it was exactly easy, either.

I'm going to initiate a Fat Man division. I posted 20:19. I had to use a 72 lb. Kettlebell, and I did 16 snatches (8 per side) instead of swings. The reps are lower, but the exercise is harder.

I did forget to bring my water. I haven't had cotton mouth like that since High School.
