Try an unsupported bench press. Dave Leys fully extended from the glute-ham developer can “really feel” the difficulty of this lift with even an empty bar. The United States All-Round Weight Lifting Association or USAWA is the authority for “odd-lifts.”
Some of these lifts place enormous demands on stabilizing muscles; others are very functional. Some are as demanding of cardiorespiratory function as running, while others train for teamwork or coordination. The USAWA site features lifts and rules.

I did a bunch of weighted pull-ups yesterday with my Snatch and C&J workout, so I did chins (supinated grip) instead of pull-ups. Didn't help much. My lard ass was really strugglin. I've never done much in terms of doubleunders so that was a challenge too.
Regardless, I got 14 total trips in 20 minutes. Another solid crossfit experience.
I really enjoyed this wod, but I was surprised how diificult it became towards the end. I thought it would be quite easy to get 20 rounds or more - wrong! I managed 16.
14 rounds in 20 minutes . . .
Had to cut the pull-ups to only 5 per set after the 3rd round, though . . . if I had stuck with 7, I doubt I would have gotten more than 10 rounds in 20 minutes . . . too hard.
The pushups were easy at first, but even those were getting hard by the end.
I only got 10 rounds. Yesterday's rope climb/wall ball WOD taxed my arms something awful, so I didn't have much left for today's pull-ups.
i really don't know how many rounds i did. probably around 12 or 13. by the end i was doing the pull-ups in sets of 2 and 3! the push-ups were cake, and the double unders weren't too bad, but as i got more fatigued they got uglier and uglier! awesome workout!
