CrossFit Redline (Anthony and Alison DiSarro) enters the CrossFit Affiliate Snapshot.

Affiliate Since: September 2008.

Location: Naples, Florida, USA.

Square Footage:
1600.

Number of Members? 50.

Is this your original location? Yes, but we're looking for more space. A lot more.

Number of Trainers? 9 (7 are Law Enforcement trainers).

Is this your full-time job? What else do/did you do? No, but it feels like it sometimes. I am a full-time law enforcement officer and SWAT team member and father of 4.

Why CrossFit? Nothing else comes close.

Keep reading! There's more!

Using 3 words or less, describe your affiliate culture: Playful, friendly and competitive.

Programming: Do you do your own or follow somewhere else? We do 75% of our own programming. The rest is from main site, other boxes we're fans of and some OPT.

Any special focus in clientele? We handle our SWAT team's PT and run teen summer Strength and Conditioning programs.

Average hours you work per week on/at your affiliate:
Physical hours, 15-20. Mental hours, over 100.

Have you ever advertised? Never.

In running this business, what really took you by surprise? How powerful word of mouth really is.

Complete the sentence: CrossFitters are . . . going to take over the world.

How has CrossFit changed your life? I look at everything with the confidence and swagger of someone who can do Fran, Muscle Ups and GHD sit-ups. That's like having a loaded gun with you, but then again I usually have a loaded gun with me.

Any advice for new affiliate owners? Besides a clean bathroom, be honest with your members. They can tell the difference.

Puke bucket in your gym? Or no puke bucket? Not only do we have a puke bucket, but we have mural of Pukie.

I am so fortunate to be a member at CF Redline with its phenomenal coaches who each and every day share their vast crossfit knowledge and push us to "get comfortable with uncomfortable". A million thanks for helping me get in the best shape of my life.
