CrossFit Scotland turns two years old today and steps into the CrossFit Affiliate Snapshot.

• Owners: Neil Foley and Ron McKinstray
• Affiliate Since: 14th February 2008
• Location: Irvine, Scotland, United Kingdom
• Sq Ft: 4,000 sq ft (3,000 gym, 1,000 office/bathrooms/showers)
• Number of members: 175
• How many times have you moved your affiliate location?: Haven't had to move but managed to lease an identical unit next door in November '09 as we were running out of space. It has allowed us to double the gym space.
• Greatest joy as a CrossFit affiliate: Watching the weakest and quietest of new members come out their shell and develop into Titans.

• Biggest worry as a CrossFit affiliate: Not to let our integrity slip in pursuit of extra members. Remaining true to our original principles.
• Do you Facebook?: After a fashion
• Do you Twitter?: No, (not yet)
• If you had Coach Greg Glassman's ear, what would you ask him?: Having never envisaged what has transpired in the last ten years, what would he guess the future holds ten years from today?
• If you could give new CrossFit Affiliates one piece of advice, what would it be? Have a properly costed business plan with realistic projections. Then take your projection for your worst month and ask yourself, if you had survive every month on that amount, could you? If the answer is yes, go for it.
• What does your gym need more of? More Concept II's please, please please. Having just endured the worst winter in forty years with sheet ice everywhere, running was out the question. Another half dozen rowers would be great.
• What does your gym need less of? (Editor's Note: No answer. So we're guessing nothing?)
• Chalk? Or no chalk? Neil loves it - Ron hates it.
