How do you record your workout progress? How do you record the progress of your affiliate members? Is it on the whiteboard in your gym, in a notebook, with an iPhone app, on-line, or in some other way?

Jon Gilson (Again Faster) has something for us to consider. Read Center of Gravity, Area of Base, and Torque.

AthleticsLog.com and our blackboard

We have one wall of our gym that is painted blackboard so we write all of the days numbers in a column there. Each days winners (male/female) goes up on the weekly stats.

Additionally all of our members log their data in the AthleticsLog at http://www.athleticslog.com so we have running metrics for all of our clients from day one. Helps to plan loads for scaling as well.

We use www.beyondthewhiteboard.com
It's a very nice, intuitive interface.

At Crossfit Henderson, we use the whiteboard in the gym. We also log everything on the Crossfit message board workout logs. We used to record them in a notebook but like the abiltiy to search provided by the message board. Since we follow Crossfit.com programming, our members like to look up their prior times/PRs so they have an idea of what they want to accomplish on a given workout.

I track mine using a WordPress install and a specialized theme; it's just me, so it's a snap (if it was for a group, I've got a theme for that, too) : http://adamkayce.com/cflog/ , if you're interested.

we used to write stuff down for clients. We got a bunch of spiral notebooks, and they are responsible to write everything down in those now. they keep them at the gym. It's amazing how much they care when they are recording their own times and weights.

Does any one know the plug-in/widget to get the wod cod that is next to the date on the main page. I want to make my site have the ability to check how they went the last time they did the work out. I hope that make sense. I'm not to good with computers.

we track our WOD's in a notebook kept in the gym, We also have as an option www.beyondthewhiteboard.com. members like it because they can compare their results to other athletes in other boxes
finally we have a white board that holds 5 days worth of WOD's
