"O.D." wows the crowd at CrossFit New Hampshire with her deadlift, her spirit, and her dedication.
How do you select the photos for your blog? Must they all show excellent form? Is it ever okay to pick a photo for emotion instead of technique?
Sometimes, you come across a story that needs to be heard. Find out about CrossFit Central (TX) member Jeff B. and how he became an athlete. Read "Fifty Pounds Gone."

We strive to post pics that highlight accomplishments, good form, etc. When we do post a pic with improper form, we point out the fault as a learning point. Rule #1 with any pic is not to embarass anyone.
I look for the emotion for sure..or at least something fun. I love the gritty look of determination and that look that says I'm in freakin pain but I will not quit.
I don't pick the pictures for our blog...Wheew!
But I love this picture....I can feel it! You go O.D way to dig deep!
I pic pic's that show what goes on here or highlights an athlete. I will not post pics with bad form because my athletes do everything perfectly!
Ok, really, I am almost a jerk about form... make people do it again type stuff. If peeps are looking at my site, I don't want them seeing bad technique think it's ok then go off and hurt themselves
Accomplishments aside, we strive for the everyday humor, the stand out athlete struggling, the new athlete making great achievements and the veterans teaching the new guns how it's done.
To be honest I own our affiliate with my brother and I teach all the morning classes alone and he teaches our night class. I know I could have a camera during the WOD's but I continually forget to take pictures. It makes it tough to monitor ten to fifteen people's form and technique and take pictures. I guess I would say I am good with people on a personal level, I'm just horrible with my website. I keep the WOD's updated daily and do my best to highlight people that have made great improvements or are very dedicated. Any advice on how to set up a blog? I had a friend set up our website www.crossfitdixie.com and it is a pain in my ass. Its kind of hard to teach people "functionality", and my website is very non-functional:)
Go OD! She's a fighter with a cause :)

I'm with Joe. If there is a slip in form in a pic, I'll call it out so people know it's not acceptable.
Thanks for highlighting my CrossFit success! I can't say enough how CrossFit has changed me and my life for the better. While the blog entry you've highlighted captures one of the achievements, this one really gets into the impacts CrossFit has had on me:

Anyway, thanks again, and hope all your WODs are pr's.
