Justin, at Bridger CrossFit, lays in front of the Pukie he helped paint on the wall. (He just set a PR in Fight Gone Bad.) Nice!

Really hoping to but when your new bulldog eats 15" of carpet and needs surgery before the holiday, I might have a tough time explaining to my kids how mommy had the money to go to Texas but not skiing in Utah. It's business though!
We will be there...looking forward to it!
I'm in, and I'm bringing my wife too! I hope this will do a better job than I can to explain all my CrossFit madness to her!
I'm totally going! I can't wait. So much to talk about. So much to Learn. So much to drink.
CrossFit USA will be in the house!! Looking forward to meeting coach and any other HQ staff that will be there.Really looking forward to finding ideas to make my box rock! To Dana in comment # 2....maybe if you make the bulldog your gym mascott you could deduct the surgery expense! Just a thought.

I know how you feel. I have two English Bulldogs, One who is 92lbs and one that is 70lbs and cant stop moving.
THEY BOTH EAT EVERYTHING!
I am going to try to get there, but I really want to get my Level 2 ASAP.. But I might try hitching a ride with some friendly affiliate brothers and sisters.
Bill and I would LOVE to attend, but it's a big expense. Does anyone know of any REASONABLE hotels in the area? Everywhere I look it's $200+ a night!
Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Trebor posted a very inspirational blog on the site today! Check it out and leave him some thoughts under the comment section!! Thanks!! www.crossfitvaldosta.com
#10, Jennie: Try La Quinta ($70 - $140), but be careful, make sure you're in South or Central Austin. Also, there are quite a few B&B's in the area that'd likely cut you a deal.
I'll be there if the Air Force lets me! :)
Eric and Luila of Next Generation CrossFit are totally there. Looking forward to seeing/meeting everyone!
Except Tucker, of course.
Crossfit People+Drinks= RFF!
I'm coming over!
Jennie,
The hyatt has a crossfit special, $175 for F/S night.
Lisbeth,
Can you explain what is on the agenda for the Affiliate Gathering? The reginstration page says it runs around 9-5 with a lunch break and a dinner one evening. Does that mean that there will be lectures, presentations, discussions, etc during the day?
I am sure that it is going to be a fun time, but besides the great networking opportunity what can Affiliates plan to take away from the trip?
Thanks!
Merle #7: Great idea, I'll run that by the accountant along with my new slogan...
"CrossFit BGI
Beat you like a throw rug !"

JB -- We have a variety of things scheduled throughout both days of FilFest, including a motivational speech by Kyle Maynard, and talks by Nicole Carroll, Skip Chase, and Freddie Camacho, among others. It will be a time not only to learn new strategies in training and business (and network with your fellow affiliates) but also a chance to gather information from the CFHQ staff about a variety of issues that pertain to us all as affiliates. (Numerous members of the CFHQ staff will be at FilFest.)
Of primary importance, however, will be the opportunity to hear from Coach Glassman himself about the State of the CrossFit Union. He will be spending a sizeable chunk of time explaining what is going on in our world and what lies ahead of us. It truly will be a talk not to be missed.
