CrossFit Running and Endurance Certification at CrossFit Milford in Connecticut, Oct 4-5.

This clean involves sand, but nobody's at the beach. Check out how CrossFit North Atlanta got a little creative about training with water bottles: video.

Jason speaks the truth. I'm not a runner and yet Brian and Carl improved my running technique (by 60%!) and gave me an appreciation of running that I had yet to experience.

The instruction, the drills, and the videotaping were all incredibly helpful.

Honestly, I was a skeptic of POSE running and this cert before this weekend. These guys made me a believer. Thanks!

RUNNING CERT-

I just want to thank Brian Mackenzie and Carl Borg for an amazing certification at Milford CT. Not only do they teach you more then you could ever expect they do it in a way where you can come out understanding all of it. They video tape you before and after running, and show you the improvement in efficient running right in front of your own eyes. I myself was 63% more efficient in just one day, some reached as high as 85%. Truly incredible. They talk from actually experience and it shows, thanks allot guys, i truly appreciate it.

As a previous marathon runner who had a bad experience with a POSE seminar before (level one instructor, first seminar...) I had pretty much written off POSE. When I saw this cert available on the website I decided to give it another chance - and I was blown away!

Not only did I see a 71% improvement in my technique, I'm excited about running again! Thanks, guys!

(Note, this is going to be triple-posted on CF, affiliate, and CFE - just so I can cover all the bases of people to thank :-)
The CrossFit Running and Endurance Certification at CrossFit Milford, CT was an awesome, informative weekend. My competitive sports background really began with club swimming and in high school I was born & raised on CrossFit- but I've still been drawn to the multisport distance challenges of the endurance community. (I finally did my first triathlon this summer...). This weekend, I learned so much, every minute. Coaches Brian & Carl were very knowledgable and the visual improvements that everyone made in running technique & efficiency were staggering.

This was my first CrossFit certification and I now have greater confidence in the program, the website(s), the WODs, etc... because this weekend I got some insight into the amount of research and data that is behind the CrossFit program: these workouts are not randomly generated--they're designed, tweaked, tested...and then assigned and posted - so all we have to do is check the site & do the workout.

I've got a PRT in 2 weeks and my first marathon in 20 days. With a better focus on CrossFit and combining that with improved running technique and skill, I am excited to tackle these new challenges and see how I do... And I am confident that, when more races come up for me in the future, I will be able to effectively train using CrossFit and CrossFit Endurance, without overtraining- and still race successfully. I am so glad that I am correcting mistakes, changing my mindset, and learning this information now, at 19 years old - so that I can avoid typical injuries, and build lifelong habits of a natural and healthy approach to fitness, training, and nutrition.
Many thanks to Brian, Carl, Burgener, and everyone who make this weekend at CrossFit Milford possible!
And - best of luck to all of the amazing athletes I got to meet!

Hi guys! I am another participant of running & endurance cert at Crossfit Milford that will hardly find any words to express how thankful I am for all knowledge, skills and inspiration that was shared with us. I could not believe how poor my running was until I viewed myself before and after two days of seminar. And, although my hamstrings are still sore from weekend drills, I couldn't wait to get to the gym and practice :))

This cert was UNBELIEVABLE. I spent most of the briefings in a state of absolute amazement. The amount of knowledge between Carl and Brian is overwhelming (in a good way)and their techniques are so irrefutable that you can't see any other option than to learn and practice them to the detail. The results were absolutely incredible, and they train you to the smallest detail.

I did the homework today and I was surprised to find that I struggled with it. Then I realized that my cardiovascular potential was so limited by my form that the challenges I faced while practicing my new techniques was my heart trying to adapt to how much FASTER and EFFICIENTLY I was operating after only two days of instruction. I felt like I had gotten a better workout after running well under a mile in total for homework than I did after a 5 mile LSD run.

The nutrition and injury-prevention briefs were equally informative and valuable. Finally, there's a nutrition plan that is balanced, manageable, and REALISTIC for a busy athlete. I'm from the NROTC Unit at The George Washington University, and anybody known for their physical fitness can't last a month without getting some injury that knocks them off their feet for a few days. I've already been showing my friends what I've learned and explaining to them how it is possible to PT practically injury-free. In no time, I'm sure that we will be a safer and stronger group of kids.

So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Coach MacKenzie, Coach Borg, and my coach, Mike Burgener, for allowing Janell and me this opportunity. I will carry the knowledge from this Cert with me for the rest of my life.
