Jeff Tucker of GSX Athletics breaks ground (or something like that?) on a new 8,000 square foot workout place in Texas.

Tuck has another gig in addition to running his CrossFit affiliate; he teaches the CrossFit Gymnastics Certifications. If you want to learn how a former bull rider and fireman became a gymnastics expert, check out the Again Faster interview with Tuck: audio and transcript.

Tip #1 in our series on"How to Improve Your Chances of Affiliate Blog Love":

It pays to understand the difference between the main page and the A-Blog. The main page publishes "virgin" material: photos and videos that haven't been featured elsewhere, including your own affiliate blog. The focus is broader, with a greater emphasis on technical instruction. Here at the A-Blog, we'll publish items that have been shown elsewhere, but our focus is on the affiliate community and the business of training.

So, if you have video of somebody rippin' out a 1:59 "Fran", think twice before posting it to YouTube -- you might want to first contact Tony and tell him about it. But, if you have video of 14 women actually named "Fran" doing "Fran" in your affiliate, then, by all means, let us know here at the A-Blog!

Hey Tucker, congrats on the new place! Can't wait to get ours done so we can have you come do a cert here in Jersey! BTW, whooped up on my boy Nick last night in handstands. Bring it!

Tuck!

Congrats Brother, nice to see the good guys doing good things, I can't wait to see the new space. What is the construction time frame? I am sure that the boys down there work through what you guys call a winter.

Congrats Tuck!

With that kind of space you won't want to leave to do certs!

Mark's handstands are suspect at best.

Tucker...I think a shovel might do the job a little faster. Maybe even a pick axe...but a metal tooth pick wouldn't have been MY first choice when it comes to digging a hole.
I'll just make a note to myself: Do not ask Tucker to dig holes for me if he charges by the hour.

Here's what's left out, in the pic we're seeing Tuck's second mighty blow with that iron pic of doom.

Yay clapping handstand push-ups!

Andy! ;) I was actually busting up a large rock with my magic tooth pick! I used a tractor and auger for the holes... Im a much better laborer than a construction foreman. The added space will be great for indoor and outdoor workouts complete with outdoor obstacle course for us kids at heart! Hell - I might be limping thru it all - but Im gonna finish!!!!!!

Nick, Mike - keep it up! I will come up to your area when your ready men!

John B... I just sent your itme you left behind here at gsx from last cert - so you should find it in the mail soon... Thanks for the kind words.

Grace! U are alive, Mwuahh! Hey - we will have a blast in the added space for the next TX AFF Gathering!!!!! Ohhhh Yay!

Keith - thanks very much kind sir - Jon G is the man no doubt and I am looking forward to Boston cert. Cant wait to meet him...

To all you other well wishers - I really appreciate your kind words... This community on the whole is an awesome place to be in... I am extremely humbled to be a part of CF - Caoch G and Lauren G - thanks for changing my entire life! Love it!

Congrats Tuck. If your new box is half as good as your CF web site then you can't miss. Keep it growing.
