"I had 50 members come in today and I bet 30 worked out in the rain (thunder storm) we bleed crossfit here!"

~Nick Cozzo - Inner Strength CrossFit

What are some "diehard" things your clients have done just so they can get their CROSSFIT workout in?

There's tons of blood on the bars at OPT, that's diehard in my books.

We have a hardcore crossfitter, Eddie, who travels alot for work. The WOD was 100 thrusters for time...he was in hotel room with no weights so he unplugged the microwave and used it. The side with the timer on it is heavier by the way. Way to improvise

during a thunderstorm, a tranformer was hit and knocked out the power...clients called and asked if they could still come in and we said sure...Fran by candlelight
we ran 3 classes with no power...awesome

I have clients that call in sick to work to make sure they get in their WOD. Whenever someone goes away we give them some easy WODs to do in their hotel room...I'll have to remember the microwave thrusters.

We had a couple who was getting married later that day who just had to come in that morning to get a workout in before the nuptials. I warned them that the "Big Day" was going to be exhausting enough!

I don't have clients, but I did go to CFSD yesterday morning for the first time in a long time. There were over a dozen people there cranking it out at 6 AM (or 0600 if you prefer). I think that's pretty impressive, pretty diehard.

Way to go Inner Strength CrossFitters!

When our clients ask, "what is the sub for the 400M run?" when it's raining, Todd and I tell them, "a wet 400M run!" Even our priciest clients get out there and do it when that first person heads outside. Ah, the wonders of peer pressure!

Thanks for all the Support from everyone. Nancy thanks for the post. I believe everyone has ripped on a pullup bar but it is not about who ripps but Yet who keeps going!

Drive 45 minutes one way for a 20-30 min workout.

Last week a thunderstorm knocked our main source power out. One of my classes trained through the blaring and flashing of our industrial grade fire alarms!

We had a major rainstorm in Indianapolis. Some os us at Indy Crossfit refused to turn around when they were closing the road to get into the building. Vince, our trainer, put the rowing machines facing out the back door. It was muddy river running between the two buildings. Felt like we were really rowing on water!

Yea Nick & CF InnerStrength!! WHOO-YAH Atlanta!

We give out a special-edition (non-purchaseable) CFNA C*ckDiesel t-shirt to hardcore feats of perseverence -- the last one went to Charles "El Rod" for puking on the last round of pullups in "300" then going back to finish. Get some!
