Breck Berry of CrossFit Jenks.

"I do a lot of local 5km's and other road races here in Oklahoma just for the competition. I stick to the WOD's and do no other supplemental running besides what CrossFit calls for. I have consistenly ran in the 18 minute range on all my 5km's and have managed to have a few in the 17 minute range. I usually place in the top 10 and usually always place in the top 3 in my age group 30-34. Last month I opened my mailbox to find a copy of the Oklahoma Runner magazine with me on the cover. I thought this was ironic since I am not what you call a true runner. Everyone at the races always ask how I train and how many miles I put in during the week. When I tell them CrossFit and that I rarely run more than 3-5 miles a week on the CrossFit program, many of them I don't think believe me."

If you didn't look so darn scary with all that muscle I am sure you would win most of those 5km races...The guys that beat you are proving again that people can run faster scared then you can mad...Way to go :)

I am a lucky man indeed to have a true "CrossFit Stud" pushing me through my WOD. Thanks for opening CrossFit Jenks, Breck!

Still can't believe you charged me to sign my copy of the magazine.

And mybe I should keep an eye on Muscle and Fitness, just in case!

This guy's 100% for real. He has a 3 minute Fran and I believe he came in 5th in the CrossFit Games this summer. And he's NOT a runner! Pure CrossFitter just like he says.
